TYM Tractors Built for Texas Property Work
We carry TYM sub-compact and compact diesel tractors in Series-2, Series-3, and Series-4 configurations—from the T25H for smaller lots up to the T574HC for demanding property work. TYM tractors are built to handle mowing, front loader work, grading, post hole digging, and more. Every model runs a diesel engine, comes with a three-point hitch, and is available with a front loader and backhoe attachment depending on configuration.
Real Savings on Current Inventory
Our TYM tractors are priced well below MSRP. The T25H starts at $19,999 (down from $24,999), and our Series-3 and Series-4 compact models offer $4,000–$10,000 in savings off regular price. These are in-stock units at our Seagoville and Longview locations—not factory orders. You can inspect them, run through the controls, and take one home the same day. Financing is available for qualified buyers.
We Help You Pick the Right Tractor for Your Land
The right tractor depends on your acreage, what you plan to do with it, and how you'll store and maintain it. A 25 HP sub-compact works for 1–5 acres of basic mowing and light loader work. A 47 HP or 57 HP compact gets serious about larger pastures, heavier attachments, and more demanding tasks. Our team will ask the right questions, walk you through the specs, and help you avoid buying more tractor—or less tractor—than you actually need.
Tractor FAQ
TYM compact and sub-compact tractors handle a wide range of property tasks: mowing with a mid-mount or rear finish mower, grading and leveling with a box blade, digging post holes with an auger, pushing dirt and debris with a front loader bucket, moving hay bales with a spear, and clearing brush with a front blade. Larger models in the Series-3 and Series-4 have enough horsepower for more demanding jobs like breaking ground or running a backhoe attachment.
For 1–5 acres of mostly mowing with occasional loader work, a 25 HP sub-compact like the TYM T25H is sufficient. For 5–20 acres or properties with heavier workloads—more grading, livestock management, larger attachments—a 30–47 HP compact (T3025H or T474H range) makes more sense. For larger operations or consistently heavy work, the 57 HP T574H or T574HC gives you more capacity. Consider not just acreage but how hard you'll work the tractor and how often.
The Series-2 (T25H) is TYM's sub-compact line—lighter, narrower, and designed for smaller properties and tighter spaces. The Series-3 covers compact tractors in the 30–47 HP range (T3025H, T474H, T474HC) and handles a broader range of farm and property work. Series-4 (T574H, T574HC) is the higher-horsepower compact range for operators who need more power without stepping up to a full-size utility tractor. The "HC" designation indicates a cab model with heat and air conditioning.
HC stands for Hydrostatic transmission with Cab. TYM cab models come with a fully enclosed operator cab with heat and air conditioning. For Texas summers, a cab tractor is a serious quality-of-life upgrade if you're spending multiple hours a day in the field. The cab also protects the operator from dust, debris, and low-hanging branches. Non-cab models (H) run the same drivetrain and engine but are open-station with a ROPS frame only.
Yes. All TYM compact and sub-compact tractors in our inventory run diesel engines. Diesel tractors are more fuel-efficient under load than gas equivalents and produce more torque at low RPMs, which matters when you're running heavy attachments. Diesel fuel is also more widely available in rural areas of Texas. Expect to run standard diesel—no specialty fuel is required.
TYM tractors use a standard Category 1 three-point hitch (sub-compact and smaller compact models) or Category 1/2 (larger compact models), which is compatible with most major attachment brands. Common attachments include front loader buckets and pallet forks, rear finish mowers, box blades, landscape rakes, post hole augers, tiller attachments, backhoes, and bale spears. Check the tractor's lift capacity and PTO horsepower to confirm compatibility with the specific attachment you have in mind.
Agricultural tractors used exclusively on private property do not require registration or a driver's license in Texas. If you plan to operate the tractor on public roads—even briefly between fields or to cross a highway—it must be registered and display a slow-moving vehicle (SMV) emblem, and the operator must have a valid driver's license. Check with the Texas DMV or your county for specifics on your use case.
TYM sub-compact and compact tractors are transported on equipment trailers. The T25H weighs approximately 1,900 lbs—an 18' or 20' equipment trailer with an appropriate weight rating handles it easily. Larger models like the T574H weigh 4,000–5,000 lbs with a loader and require a heavier trailer and a capable tow vehicle. We sell equipment trailers alongside our tractors—our team can help you match the right trailer to the specific TYM model you're buying.
Routine maintenance includes engine oil and filter changes (typically every 50–100 hours), hydraulic fluid checks and changes, air filter inspection and replacement, gear oil changes in the front axle and transmission, and greasing all zerk fittings. Check the specific TYM model's operator manual for service intervals. Keeping up with scheduled maintenance extends the life of the tractor significantly and protects any warranty coverage.
Yes. We offer financing on TYM tractors for qualified buyers. Given the price range—from around $20,000 for the T25H up to $40,000 for larger cab models—financing makes the purchase more manageable without depleting working capital. Stop into either our Seagoville or Longview location with basic personal and financial information and we'll walk you through available options.
